Delete your account and personal data

These instructions apply to The Help Market (THM), including accounts created using Facebook Login.

Delete your account in THM

  1. Sign in to your THM account.
  2. Open Settings → Sign in & security.
  3. Find Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, email support@thehelpmarket.com with the subject THM data deletion request. Include the email address associated with your THM account and state that you want your account and personal data deleted.

We may need to verify account ownership. We respond within the timeframes described in our Privacy Policy, generally within 30 days, with extensions where permitted by law.

What happens to your data

A deletion request covers your THM account and associated personal data, including Facebook profile information received through Facebook Login. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Disconnect Facebook

In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, select TheHelpMarket and choose Remove.

Removing the Facebook connection does not by itself submit a THM account deletion request. Use either deletion method above to request removal of your THM data.
